Albion invests in high growth ventures, social infrastructure, and quoted equities across the different funds that we manage or advise. We invest in most sectors, with a focus on healthcare, technology, renewable energy and education.
We typically look to invest £2-5m for a minority stake in high growth companies at Series A and early Series B. We support outstanding entrepreneurs who have demonstrated product-market fit and wish to optimise and scale their business rapidly, and especially like businesses with a clear go to market strategy and long term differentiation in a growth market.
Within technology, we look at most sectors, with a particular focus on digital B2B companies – enterprise software and technology services – across a broad range of sectors, including digital health, cybersecurity, martech and fintech. Companies that benefit from macro themes around disruption, digital transformation, and the trend towards a data-driven economy are particularly attractive. We also invest in companies commercialising IP from University College London via the UCL Technology Fund.
Outside of technology we continue to be opportunistic and will review any business which fits our core criteria of high growth and product-market fit.
We invest £2-20m into UK businesses with strong asset backing. We partner with experienced operators to fund new developments on a shared ownership basis. We have invested across many sectors, including care homes, schools, hotels, art house cinemas and other leisure assets. We are also looking to acquire a wide range of renewables assets including solar, wind, hydro, biogas and storage for our renewable energy generation company, Albion Community Power.
We invest in publicly-listed equities on behalf of charities, investments funds and individual investors via OLIM.
